Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Related experience and/or training in hospitality or food and beverage service
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older to drive Broadmoor vehicles
  • Ability to occasionally lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee operations in the Hotel Bar
  • Resolve complaints regarding food, beverage and service
  • Train and monitor employees for proper service
  • Schedule staff
  • Present menu to the guest, offer recommendations and description for the purpose of assisting and upselling the menu
  • Assist waitstaff in retrieving items from the kitchen and bar, serving when necessary
  • Assist the bartender as needed
  • Ensure station and side-work are complete prior to staff leaving
  • Train and orient new employees
  • Ensure that all appropriate paperwork is completed and turned in
  • Oversee all operations in the absence of the manager
  • Handle situations diplomatically and professionally that may arise due to complications from alcohol consumption
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • All other duties assigned by Park Supervisors or Director of Operations
