Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum two years of related work experience or comparative education
- Must adhere to all safety policies
- Must communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must obtain Colorado approved Alcohol Server Training certificate within 30 days if not already certified
- Must obtain Food Handler and Allergy training certificates within 14 days if not already certified
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years relevant food service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous banquet experience preferred
- Basic administrative, math, and supervisory skills
- Some previous supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with commercial food service equipment preferred
- Ability to effectively problem solve and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff
- Strong communication skills in English
- Must be a role model for Service Excellence standards
- Must have or be able to obtain Colorado approved Alcohol Server Training certificate within 30 days of employment
- Must have or be able to obtain current Food Handler and Allergy training certificates within 14 days of employment
Job Duties
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate the daily operations of assigned banquets
- Consult with Banquet Manager or Executive Chef regarding serving arrangements, staffing, and equipment needs
- Develop and implement hiring and training programs to ensure adequate and trained personnel
- Supervise and assist with banquet operations including setting tables, stocking service stations, taking orders, serving, clearing and cleaning tables, and setting up bars
- Provide superior service to all customers at all times
- Follow Resort Etiquette Guidelines and respond courteously and efficiently to guests
- Complete daily billing of banquet event orders
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
