As a Hotel Assistant Manager at PENN Entertainment, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the exceptional guest service and operational excellence that define the company’s hospitality division. This role supports the General Manager by overseeing daily hotel operations, which includes front desk management, housekeeping, and guest services. Your focus will be on ensuring that every guest has an outstanding experience, while also driving operational efficiency and supporting financial performance initiatives.
In this fast-paced and exciting position, you will be expected to maintain brand standards, adhere to safety regulations, and uphold company policies. You will handle guest complaints with professionalism, monitor room occupancy and inventory, and assist in implementing effective rate strategies. Your responsibilities will extend to supporting revenue management and cost-control initiatives, all while fostering a positive work environment through coaching, supervising, and developing hotel team members.
Additionally, the role requires hands-on participation in daily property walkthroughs to verify cleanliness and operational readiness. You will assist with payroll and scheduling oversight, contribute to audit processes, and participate actively in hiring, training, and performance management. The position requires flexibility as it includes working evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays to ensure seamless hotel operations.

Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- 2-4 years of hotel supervisory or management experience
- strong knowledge of front office systems and property management software
