Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with hotels or property management
  • 4-year degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent education and experience
  • exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including electronic communication
  • advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language used in the workplace
  • 8+ hours per day sitting at desk/computer
  • manual dexterity and repetitive motions required throughout workday

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with hotels or property management
  • 4-year degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent education and experience

Job Duties

  • Work with Accounts Payable team to ensure hotel invoices are correctly coded and processed
  • complete month-end accounting closing process
  • support and engage with hotel teams to identify and resolve accounting challenges, monthly financials, and other research and financial analysis
  • prepare month end account reconciliation and accounting work reports
  • manage weekly payables check runs and aging reports
  • assist managing audits by providing audit schedules, data requests, and auditor inquiries
  • comply with local, state, and federal laws and guidelines and with company policy
  • always maintain professionalism consistent with company expectations
