The Hot Mixed Asphalt Apprentice position at NESL supports the operations of the Barton Road HMA Plant, an integral component of their asphalt manufacturing and supply chain. This full-time role, requiring over 30 hours per week, offers a competitive starting hourly rate of $31.85 with the opportunity to progress to $36.46 per hour. This apprentice role is hands-on and physically demanding, perfect for individuals who are proactive, safety-conscious, and eager to grow within the industry. As an apprentice, you will support the Plant Operator in daily batching operations for commercial, residential, and municipal asphalt projects. This role encompasses the operation of both small and heavy equipment, routine safety inspections, and plant maintenance, aiming to maintain efficient production processes and high safety standards.
