Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Minimum of 1 year of related cooking experience
  • Work experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist and stand to perform normal job functions
  • Frequent immersion of hands in water and chemical solutions
  • Frequent use of sharp knives, utensils, and hot plates
  • Frequent work in a hot environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred
  • Ability to read, speak, and comprehend instructions and customer communications
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods at fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and egg stations
  • Follow recipes and product directions for seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving food
  • Communicate ticket times and potential issues to managers and servers
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment
  • Adhere to food safety and HACCP standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment and prepare ingredients
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of products
