Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen setting preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity for chopping, cutting, and food preparation
- Capacity to bend, stoop, and kneel
- Able to work in hot, cold, and steamy kitchen environments
- Flexible availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
- Able to pass any required certifications such as ServSafe or Food Handler
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation or culinary arts
- Large-volume kitchen experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, knife skills, and kitchen operations
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and HACCP guidelines
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Valid ServSafe Food Certification or Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during stadium events
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals using premium ingredients for various events
- Follow recipes ensuring proper marinating, seasoning, and cooking of meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables
- Ensure freshness, quality, and proper storage of all food ingredients
- Collaborate with the culinary team to execute event-specific menu items maintaining Levy's standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation including sinks, counters, and cooking equipment
- Assist with food preparation across kitchen departments to ensure timely service and efficient operations
- Monitor inventory levels of key ingredients and coordinate stock replenishment
- Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations including food handling and storage
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Assist in catering, game day events, and other department-specific food production
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
