Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods while performing essential duties
- Responsible Beverage Service certification required for California positions (can be completed during training or within 60 days after start date)
- Must comply with drug and alcohol policies
- Must complete Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify)
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service with a genuine smile and friendly demeanor

- Basic knowledge of food and drink menus
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Responsible Beverage Service certification for California positions

Job Duties
- Making a memorable first and last impression
- Greeting incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner
- Seating guests in the dining and bar areas while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff
- Coordinating the wait and seating guests with a sense of urgency
- Always smiling and having genuine conversations with guests
- Having a general knowledge of the food and drink menu and recommending and upselling products
- Answering the phone in a prompt and professional manner and directing calls
- Assisting throughout the restaurant by bussing tables, delivering food and bar beverages, assisting with guests, and ensuring all customer opportunities are completed
- Leading the lobby experience for each guest following Outback hospitality standards
- Committing to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift
