Currently, Lupe Tortilla is seeking a Restaurant Team Host to join their dynamic team. In this role, the Team Host will be responsible for greeting guests with a friendly smile, gathering guest information, and providing accurate wait times. You will handle incoming calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments, ensuring clear communication lines within the restaurant. Additionally, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests waiting to be seated is essential. The Team Host acts as a liaison between guests and management, reporting on wait times and introducing new guests to the Lupe Tortilla experience. Escorting guests to their seats while demonstrating enthusiasm and urgency helps to keep the dining room running smoothly and guests satisfied.

This position requires someone with high integrity, a strong sense of urgency, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently. Teamwork is crucial, as well as a consistently positive demeanor characterized by a resting smile. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and be able to obtain food handler and TABC certificates, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Job Duties

  • Welcome guest with a smile
