The current role focuses on serving guests by greeting them promptly upon seating and offering water service, including refills as needed. An essential part of this position is to check with the server regarding upsold bottled waters and to maintain a clean and organized floor. This role involves consistently assisting servers during busy periods, especially with large parties, by carrying food and dishes, performing cleaning and stocking duties, and responding to guest requests efficiently. Coordinating closely with fellow employees such as servers, hosts, and hostesses is crucial to expedite seating, optimize table utilization, and maintain smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
