Open exclusively for dinner from Wednesday through Saturday, the venue embraces a socially distanced seating arrangement to ensure the safety and well-being of its guests. The restaurant is currently seeking a personable and professional host or hostess to join its close-knit team. This role is vital as it represents the first and last impression guests receive during their visit. As the ambassador of the establishment, the host or hostess is responsible for fostering a warm and inviting environment through exceptional customer service and attention to detail. The position requires an individual with an outgoing, friendly, and happy disposition who can maintain impeccable grooming and uphold a professional appearance. The standard work schedule includes shifts from 4 PM to 8:30 PM on weekdays, extending to 9:30 PM on Saturdays, with some flexibility offered regarding exact hours.

In this role, the host or hostess will welcome and acknowledge all guests as they arrive, accurately determine the size of each party, and manage seating availability. The position demands strong communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues, as well as efficiently answer telephone inquiries with appropriate etiquette. Additionally, the host or hostess will be responsible for monitoring the dining room to ensure guest safety, comfort, and smooth service flow. Standing for extended periods is a necessary aspect of this role, reflecting the dynamic and active nature of hospitality work.
