Job Requirements
- Must comply with all state gaming regulations including obtaining a license if required
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach while assisting guests
- Use of stairs and elevators
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Customer service experience dealing directly with customers
- Ability to communicate fluently and professionally in English
- Flexible schedule availability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
Job Duties
- Greeting guests with a positive and friendly attitude
- Seating guests in a timely manner
- Assigning wait staff to service guests in their sections
- Answering phone calls and responding to customer inquiries
- Assisting wait and bar staff with various tasks
- Bussing and resetting tables as needed
- Cleaning and maintaining the host area and restaurant entrance
- Ensuring the safety and security of employees and customers
