Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Basic knowledge or willingness to learn restaurant software systems
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Food handler certification as required
  • Capability to perform multiple tasks and maintain a professional demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn restaurant point-of-sale and reservation systems
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Food handler certification if applicable
  • Flexible with scheduling availability including weekends, nights, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet all restaurant guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure fair and consistent guest placement
  • Handle incoming phone calls, accurately booking guest reservations
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand including paperwork and supplies
  • Provide information about the restaurant and local area to guests as needed
  • Assist servers by refilling beverages and bussing tables when necessary
  • Support overall guest experience by performing other restaurant and customer service related tasks as requested
