Job Requirements

  • open availability including every saturday
  • ability to speak, read, and write english clearly
  • ged or high school diploma preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in customer service
  • 1-3 years experience in food service
  • working knowledge of pc and microsoft windows
  • typing skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • self-motivated
  • ability to work independently
  • friendly and cheerful demeanor
  • ability to handle stressful situations
  • physical ability to perform light to medium work
  • willingness to work in industrial and clinical settings

Job Qualifications

  • understanding of menus, food, and diets

Job Duties

  • serve as liaison between patients and food service and nutrition
  • coordinate patient nutritional needs with nursing units and dieticians
  • assist patients with room service
  • deliver meal trays to assigned patients
  • maintain friendly and cheerful demeanor
  • handle stressful situations effectively
  • participate in orientation and continuing education
