Job Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and proficiently
- GED/High School Diploma preferred
- 1-3 years experience in customer service
- 1-3 years experience in a food service establishment
- Working knowledge of PC/Microsoft Windows
- Typing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of menus, food and diets
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to problem solve to meet customer needs
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Friendly and cheerful demeanor
- Availability to work any scheduled shift including Saturdays
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide a high quality dining experience to patients
- Act as liaison between patients and food service and nutrition
- Coordinate patient nutritional needs between nursing units and dieticians and kitchen staff
- Assist patients with room service when appropriate
- Deliver meal trays to assigned patients
- Maintain knowledge and skills related to area of expertise
- Display friendly and cheerful demeanor reflecting the culture of healing and service excellence
