With an award-winning reputation and a strong commitment to a positive workplace culture, Loews Hotels prides itself on being one of Central Florida's Top Workplaces and one of America’s Best-in-State Employers as recognized by Forbes. The company fosters an inclusive culture centered on the "power of we," where diversity and individual authenticity are embraced and celebrated every day. Team members at Loews Hotels enjoy a vibrant work environment that is both fulfilling and fun, enriched by an ethos of community engagement and continuous professional development. The company offers competitive benefits, including one free meal per shift and complimentary theme park access, enhancing the overall work-life balance for its employees.
As part of the Loews Hotels family, specifically at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort, team members join a unique island paradise inspired by the Golden Age of Travel and the adventurous spirit of island hopping through the South Pacific. This environment is designed to immerse both guests and staff in a culturally rich, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The management is dedicated to providing a workplace where employees feel valued and motivated to grow professionally and personally. Whether involved with guest services, culinary arts, corporate roles, or IT, every position is integral to crafting memorable experiences for visitors and contributing meaningfully to the company’s growth and success.
This specific role involves supervision within the restaurant operations at the Royal Pacific Resort. In the absence of the Manager, the supervisor ensures smooth and efficient restaurant activities, managing reservations, guest seating, and dining room upkeep to maintain the highest standards of service. The supervisor’s duties encompass a wide range of responsibilities including controlling the reservation book, greeting guests professionally, assigning work stations, and monitoring dining room activities. This leadership position requires a strong guest service orientation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests alike. Supervisors are expected to enhance guest experiences by utilizing guest history information and ensuring the dining environment is clean, welcoming, and operates at peak efficiency.
Additional responsibilities include delegating tasks to staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies, attending meetings and training sessions, and upholding uniform and grooming standards. The role demands flexibility, as it requires working nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the operation. Candidates with prior experience in high-volume food and beverage settings and host/hostess roles are preferred, as they bring valuable skills that contribute to the seamless operation and customer satisfaction in a dynamic hospitality environment. This position offers not only a chance to grow within a respected hotel chain but also to be part of a community that values social responsibility, diversity, and personal development.
