This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to join a dynamic team in an energetic environment where they can grow professionally while contributing to memorable guest experiences.
Levy, a division within Compass Group, began its journey 40 years ago as a delicatessen in Chicago. From these humble beginnings, it has evolved into a major presence across more than 200 entertainment, sports, and restaurant venues nationwide. Levy leverages creativity, tailored food and beverage strategies, exemplary service standards, and a passion for exceptional food to deliver unforgettable experiences to guests. The Host/Hostess position plays a crucial part in this mission by ensuring that guests at Dignity Health Sports Park receive a warm welcome and enjoy a smooth and pleasant dining experience.
In this role, the host or hostess is responsible for promptly and warmly greeting guests upon arrival and seating them according to availability and their seating preferences. The position requires excellent communication skills, patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in people to handle customer service situations gracefully. Confidentiality and sensitivity toward guests’ personal or medical information are highly emphasized, reflecting the company’s commitment to respect and professionalism.
The host/hostess also supervises food service associates within the dining area, ensuring adherence to proper customer service, food handling, and sanitation procedures. Training new team members and overseeing the closing of the dining room by ensuring all side work and station setups are completed properly are also essential duties. Additionally, the role includes knowledge of emergency safety procedures and active participation in guest evacuation if necessary.
