The host must anticipate guest needs, maintain a polished and professional demeanor, and contribute to a positive atmosphere through sincere interaction. Additional responsibilities include opening and closing duties, maintaining cleanliness in the host area, and clearly communicating with team members and management. Bi-lingual candidates are highly preferred to enhance guest engagement.

Both roles offer competitive pay ranging from $15.20 to $24.00 per hour plus tips for the Host position and opportunity-based salary for Cooks. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and licenses as required by local gaming regulations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in operating phone and reservation systems
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a hospitality or food service role

Job Duties

  • Consistently follow established sequence of service to provide the highest level of service to guests
  • Build and establish a personal clientele through guest interaction, including name and face recognition
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond appropriately
  • Greet guests with eye contact, a smile, and a sincere welcome
  • Use guests' names whenever possible
  • Communicate politely with guests regarding any delays or changes in their table or reservation
  • Provide a sincere farewell with a smile
  • Perform all opening and closing duties daily as assigned per shift
  • Maintain cleanliness of host area and entrances to ensure a positive first impression
  • Work as a team to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members
  • Maintain professionalism with guests and team members
  • Utilize OpenTable for reservations and walk-ins
  • Seat guests in a polite and efficient manner at a reasonable pace
  • Assist servers, bartenders, and server assistants to keep dining room flow moving
  • Comply with all managers and direct supervisor requests
