We are currently seeking a Host to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the guest experience as the initial point of contact for our customers. As a Host, you will greet guests with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a positive dining visit. Managing the seating flow efficiently and courteously will be one of your critical responsibilities to ensure smooth service operation and guest satisfaction. You will coordinate seating arrangements, handle reservations accurately, and maintain an organized and clean hostess station.

This position demands excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable standing for extended periods, capable of handling light physical duties such as lifting up to 25 pounds, and knowledgeable in using basic computer systems for reservation management. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as you will be the face of our hospitality and a supportive team member coordinating between kitchen and dining staff.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, typically up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • basic computer skills for managing reservation systems

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile and a friendly attitude upon arrival
  • efficiently manage the seating chart to accommodate guests and optimize table turnover
  • answer phone calls to take reservations or respond to inquiries politely and accurately
  • provide guests with menus and notify servers of their arrival
  • monitor the waiting list and inform guests when tables become available
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess station and lobby area
  • assist with side duties such as refilling condiments, restocking menus, and helping servers as needed
