Job Description

We are currently seeking a Host to join our team. As the first friendly face our guests encounter, the Host plays a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience. This role involves greeting guests warmly, managing the flow of patrons, and ensuring that the dining area remains organized and welcoming. The Host will efficiently handle seating arrangements, manage the waiting list, and support servers by assisting with side duties such as refilling condiments and restocking menus. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. Our ideal candidate is customer-focused, adaptable to changing priorities, and possesses strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest concerns professionally.   • ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • basic computer skills for managing reservation systems

Job Duties

  • Greet guest with a smile and a friendly attitude upon arrival
  • efficiently manage the seating chart to accommodate guests and optimize table turnover
  • answer phone calls to take reservations or respond to inquiries politely and accurately
  • provide guests with menus and notify servers of their arrival
  • monitor the waiting list and inform guests when tables become available
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess station and lobby area
  • assist with side duties such as refilling condiments, restocking menus, and helping servers as needed
