Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greets and directs guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements
  • helps create an enjoyable dining experience and promotes a safe, clean and neat environment
  • exhibits exceptional communication skills and demonstrates flexibility and patience
  • maintains sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal information
  • supervises activities of food-service associates to ensure compliance with customer service, food handling and sanitation procedures
  • helps train new food-service team members
  • supervises the closing of the assigned dining room ensuring side work and station setup are completed
  • demonstrates knowledge of emergency safety procedures and assists with evacuation
  • assists with service including occasional bussing and food service while maintaining safe food handling standards
  • operates equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines
  • coordinates with other departments for job duties and special events
  • performs other assigned duties
