Job Description

Denny's is a well-established and iconic American restaurant chain known for its welcoming atmosphere, classic diner-style food, and commitment to serving quality meals 24/7. As a family-friendly dining destination, Denny's offers a wide variety of menu options that cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences. Independent franchisees own and operate individual Denny's locations, ensuring a personalized and community-focused approach to customer service. Working with Denny's means becoming part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating an enjoyable dining experience for every guest who walks through the doors.

This particular role is for a Host or Hostess position at a Denny's restaurant operated by an independently owned and operated franchisee. The role focuses on greeting and seating guests, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, and contributing to the overall welcoming atmosphere that Denny's is known for. The position offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay ranging from $16.50 to $17.50 per hour, depending on location and experience. The work environment is safe and sanitized, reflecting Denny's strong commitment to health and safety standards.

Hosts and Hostesses at Denny's play a crucial role as the first point of contact for guests. They are responsible for making a positive impression, managing guest flow, and ensuring an efficient dining experience. The job is dynamic and involves interacting with a variety of customers, which helps develop valuable interpersonal and communication skills. Employees are supported by an organization that values leadership, education, and advancement, making it an ideal entry-level or customer service position for those seeking long-term career growth within the hospitality and foodservice industry.

Working for an independent franchisee means that employment decisions, including hiring, firing, and scheduling, are managed locally, giving employees the benefit of a more personally engaged management team. Although franchisees operate independently, they uphold the standards and reputation of the Denny's brand, providing employees with the training and support needed to succeed. This franchisee is committed to equal employment opportunity and values diversity, welcoming applications from all qualified individuals.

Joining the team at Denny's offers more than just a paycheck; it's an opportunity to develop a career in the foodservice industry within a supportive and inclusive environment. From flexible work hours to skill development, employees gain experience that can lead to advancement within Denny's or the broader hospitality field. Whether you are looking for a first job, a part-time opportunity, or a stepping stone to management, the Host or Hostess role at Denny's is designed to feed not just guests but also your career ambitions.
