The Host position at Legends is a vital role responsible for providing exceptional guest service within a dynamic restaurant environment. Hosts are the first point of contact for guests and play a crucial role in creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism and courtesy at all times, greeting and seating guests promptly while maintaining a clean, neat, and safe work area. This position requires a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus, including specials and services offered, ensuring that guests receive personalized service that exceeds expectations. The Host works collaboratively with fellow associates and various service departments in the restaurant to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency. Roles also include equipment and inventory care and fulfillment of opening and closing duties. The Host must be ready to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting with extended shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, speak and write English
  • Must have two to three years of experience in a fast paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have sufficient mobility for physical tasks required
  • Practice safe work habits

Job Qualifications

  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards
  • Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
  • Must be able to read, speak and write English language in order to communicate with guests
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Ability to work all restaurant events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • Must have two (2) to three (3) years working in a fast paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred

  • Communicate effectively with guests, all levels of management and co-workers
  • Maintain the proper care of equipment and food & beverage items

  • Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the restaurant
