The role of Day Shift Host/Hostess at Balter Beerworks is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy engaging with guests and creating positive first impressions. This position is available both part-time and full-time, working Monday through Friday. As a Host or Hostess, you will be the vital link between guests and the restaurant experience, greeting and seating guests in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner. You will manage the waitlist, reservations, and call-ahead seating to ensure smooth operations during busy service hours. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude at all times. No prior experience is necessary, making it an excellent entry point for individuals passionate about people and hospitality. Additionally, having beer knowledge is an added advantage, allowing you to engage with and inform guests about Balter's excellent craft beer offerings. Physical activity is involved, including lifting weights between 25-50 lbs. and motion such as bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and using fingers and wrists continuously.
