Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality or related customer service role preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of computer and telephone systems
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and health standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to serve needs of guests through verbal face-to-face interactions
- Demonstrates positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to a high level of guest satisfaction
- Ability to learn and use telephone and computer systems at the hotel
- Prior experience in hospitality and/or luxury setting desired
- Flexible availability for varying shift times
Job Duties
- Greets guests upon arrival and seats them at their table
- Provides guests a menu and general information about the restaurants and meal options at the hotel
- Prepares and maintains a list of guests waiting
- Records guest name and number of guests in the party
- Provides an estimate of waiting time
- Notifies party when a table becomes available
- Checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course
- Thanks guests as they depart and invites them to return at a future date
- Cleans work areas and waiting areas according to department standards
- Follows all standard food handling, sanitation, and health department guidelines
