Job Requirements
- Must have 2 years of experience as Host/Hostess in a fine-dining restaurant
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
- Highly motivated and energetic personality
- Ability to maintain complete knowledge of entire menu and proper food handling presentation and service
- Strong attention to details
- Can make quick decisions
- Excellent computer and phone skills
- Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- FOH experience preferred but will train
- Able to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral forms
- Must be 21 years of age

Job Duties
- Provide extraordinary service consistent with the DeSimone Steakhouse standards
- Greet and seat guests in a gracious manner and distribute among service staff equally and as fairly
- Monitor guests that are seated and immediately respond to guest's needs or request of first contact
- Assist in accepting reservations and answer phone in hospitable manner confirming with manager if large parties can be accommodated
- Check billing status of casino, room, bill back, and coupon and comp numbers to assist in closing of checks
- Maintain proper supplies for the hostess stand and podium
- clean and/or dust host stand and podium
- Assist service staff in their tasks as it relates to billing, guest requests or guest information
- Work with management team to coordinate break scheduling for service staff while ensuring adequate floor coverage
- Anticipate guest needs and provide service quickly and accurately
- Advise manager of any guest complaints
- Perform all other job-related duties as requested
