Job Requirements

  • Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift, and grasp
  • Sufficient mobility to move and operate in the work area
  • Ability to stand and walk during entire shift
  • Ability to hear well in a loud environment
  • Possession of basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
  • Compliance with state, county, or municipal regulations pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling
  • Ability to observe and differentiate between monetary denominations
  • Ability to operate point of sale system
  • Ability to work around potentially hazardous chemicals
  • Ability to pass all required tests and training requirements for the position

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a warm, friendly, smiling manner that welcomes them into the restaurant and sets the stage for a positive experience
  • Engage in friendly conversation as you suggest new menu items, process payments, make correct change, and help with beverage orders for guests
  • Complete side work, cleaning, and assist other team members as needed
  • Operate point of sale system accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in host stand and dining area
  • Monitor and manage guest flow and seating arrangements efficiently
  • Follow safety and health regulations related to food handling and restaurant environment
