Job Requirements

Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift, and grasp
Sufficient mobility to move and operate in the work area
Ability to stand and walk during entire shift
Ability to hear well in a loud environment
Possession of basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
Compliance with state, county, or municipal regulations pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling
Ability to observe and differentiate between monetary denominations
Ability to operate point of sale system
Ability to work around potentially hazardous chemicals
Ability to pass all required tests and training requirements for the position

Job Duties

Greet guests in a warm, friendly, smiling manner that welcomes them into the restaurant and sets the stage for a positive experience
Engage in friendly conversation as you suggest new menu items, process payments, make correct change, and help with beverage orders for guests
Complete side work, cleaning, and assist other team members as needed
Operate point of sale system accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization in host stand and dining area
Monitor and manage guest flow and seating arrangements efficiently
Follow safety and health regulations related to food handling and restaurant environment
