Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks involving bending and twisting
  • ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and company policies
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • cash handling experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables
  • record customer reservations or seating times accurately
  • maintain and update restaurant seating charts
  • set up and maintain dining room areas before service
  • assist with stocking silverware for shifts
  • advise guests on menus and beverage options
  • oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
  • liaison between kitchen and floor staff
  • perform cashier and bus person duties as needed
  • follow cash handling policies and ensure cash security
  • patrol station for refills and clearing tables
  • perform additional tasks during downtime like rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing dishes, preparing food for To-go areas, and cleaning table condiments
