Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks involving bending and twisting
ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and company policies
availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred
cash handling experience preferred
excellent organizational skills
ability to read and interpret seating charts
friendly and outgoing demeanor
ability to interact well with public and coworkers
strong communication skills
ability to follow instructions and policies

Job Duties

Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables
record customer reservations or seating times accurately
maintain and update restaurant seating charts
set up and maintain dining room areas before service
assist with stocking silverware for shifts
advise guests on menus and beverage options
oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
liaison between kitchen and floor staff
perform cashier and bus person duties as needed
follow cash handling policies and ensure cash security
patrol station for refills and clearing tables
perform additional tasks during downtime like rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing dishes, preparing food for To-go areas, and cleaning table condiments
