Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in food service or hosting
  • knowledge of POS and reservation systems
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • availability to work weekends, holidays, split shifts, and long shifts
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in food service or hosting, preferably in fine dining
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • tech-savvy with experience using POS, reservation, and scheduling software

Job Duties

  • Greet all members and guests with a warm, gracious welcome
  • seat guests efficiently while considering preferences and table rotation
  • provide menus and inform guests of their server upon seating
  • manage reservations and accurately quote wait times during busy periods
  • coordinate with service staff and kitchen to maintain a smooth guest flow
  • answer phone calls, take to-go orders, and respond to inquiries
  • maintain a clean and organized host area and dining room
  • monitor guest satisfaction, handle complaints courteously, and thank guests as they leave
  • support the team by jumping in wherever needed to ensure seamless operations
