Established as a leader in the hospitality and leisure industry within the region, SVCC offers members not just top-tier golf and dining experiences but also a welcoming and professional environment where employees are valued and supported. The Club prides itself on maintaining a workplace culture defined by respect, teamwork, and continuous growth, making it a preferred choice for those seeking employment in the hospitality sector. SVCC is committed to being a community hub where excellence is a standard and both members and staff thrive.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a dynamic setting that blends indoor and outdoor environments surrounded by scenic beauty. Beyond just serving as the first point of contact, the Host/Hostess is instrumental in shaping the dining experience, ensuring that every member and guest feels welcomed, valued, and attended to. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, managing seating arrangements thoughtfully according to reservations and preferences, and coordinating with servers to maintain efficient service flow. A significant part of the job involves addressing guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy, which helps build lasting positive impressions of the Club.
In addition to hands-on training and skill development within the Food & Beverage department, employees at SVCC benefit from an inclusive atmosphere where teamwork and mutual respect are emphasized. The members of SVCC are known for their leadership in the Lehigh Valley, making guest interactions both rewarding and enjoyable. Working at SVCC also means receiving competitive wages and benefits that stand out in the region, including complimentary meals during shifts and a workplace where physical activity is part of the daily routine—making it not only a job but also a way to stay active. Employees often cite the camaraderie among staff and the Club’s renowned reputation as reasons for returning season after season or staying long term. For those seeking a resume boost, experience gained at SVCC is a valuable asset recognized across the hospitality industry.
