Job Requirements
- Ability to relate and be respectful to a wide variety of people and provide superior customer service to all including Residents, co-workers, vendors, family members and visitors
- Must wear employee badge, and proper uniform at all times while on-the-job
- Must report to work on time, in uniform and adhere to attendance policy
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding information about Resident, co-workers, vendors, family members and visitors
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- A combination of experience, education, and/or training which substantially demonstrates the required knowledge and skills
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum of one year job related experience
Job Duties
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Cloverwood Senior Living
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and waitlists using restaurant systems or manual logs
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate knowledge of table availability and seating rotations
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist with guest inquiries
- Take and process to-go orders accurately, including entering orders into the POS system
- Confirm order details, provide pickup times, and ensure proper packaging of takeout orders
- Handle guest questions, concerns, and complaints courteously and escalate when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
- Monitor dining room activity to support efficient seating and guest satisfaction
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
- Provide accurate information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies
- Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Reset tables in bar area
- Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar
- Recognize and learn the names of all residents and be familiar with repeat guests
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
