Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a host or hostess preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including carrying 25+ pounds, standing for long periods, crouching, kneeling, and stooping
  • Proficiency with POS systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Previous host or hostess experience preferred
  • Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, and booth seats
  • Superior reading, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere

Job Duties

  • Greet, engages, and seats guests in a warm and timely manner
  • Accommodate special needs including boosters, highchairs, disabilities, and large parties
  • Open doors for guests arriving and departing
  • Manage the wait list and quote accurate times
  • Assist servers as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and entry areas
  • Check overall restroom cleanliness every 30 minutes
  • Use the POS system to clock-in/out, process orders, and complete end of shift procedures
  • Perform side duties including bussing tables, washing dishes, expediting orders, and running food
