Job Description
We are a franchise group operating nine prestigious Ruth's Chris Steak Houses located across North Carolina, Maryland, and New Jersey. As an esteemed member of the hospitality industry, our establishments are renowned for delivering exceptional dining experiences centered around premium steaks, top-tier service, and an inviting atmosphere. Our commitment to excellence is reflected not only in the quality of our food but also in the caliber of our team members who uphold our brand's distinguished reputation.
We are currently seeking motivated and customer-focused Front of House (FOH) team members to join our dynamic team. FOH positions encompass various roles that are critical in ensuring a seamless and memorable interaction between our guests and the restaurant. In these roles, team members are expected to embody professionalism in uniform, maintain impeccable personal hygiene, and adhere strictly to scheduled shift times. The positions are available as both full-time and part-time opportunities, offering flexibility for a variety of candidates.
The core responsibility of FOH team members is to enhance our guests' dining experience through diligent performance of opening and closing duties as directed by the Manager on Duty. Each shift begins with station assignments, and team members are integral in managing guest reservations, seating, and overall flow of the dining room. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, where assisting fellow team members and promptly addressing any guest dissatisfaction by informing the Manager on Duty is mandatory. Team members also must familiarize themselves with all standards and procedures detailed in the RCSH Employee Training Packet, ensuring consistent, high-quality service.
Specific duties include assisting the Manager on Duty in strategic planning of reservations and party seatings, answering telephones courteously and efficiently, greeting guests immediately upon arrival, and managing seating rotations to optimize table turns. Further, FOH staff is responsible for controlling the waitlist accurately, keeping guests informed about wait times, and escalating issues as needed. The nature of the business demands availability for night, weekend, and holiday shifts, supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction during peak dining hours.
By joining our team, you will become part of a reputable franchise that values dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to providing an elevated dining journey. Whether you bring prior hospitality experience or are looking to develop your skills in a premier steakhouse environment, we provide comprehensive training and a supportive atmosphere to help you thrive. Come be a part of a team that takes pride in delivering plus one service to every guest, consistently.
