This opportunity is based at the Kimpton Palladian Hotel, a unique 97-room landmark hotel located on the cusp of Seattle’s vibrant Belltown and retail core. The hotel is within walking distance of iconic attractions like Pike Place Market and Seattle’s waterfront, alongside some of the city’s newest restaurants, live music venues, cafes, and boutiques. The Palladian is a 1910 historic building reinvented with luxurious amenities, edgy design, and contemporary décor that reflects Belltown’s eclectic and trendy spirit. The hotel features a celebrated seafood restaurant, Shaker + Spear, a speakeasy-style lounge called Pennyroyal, and an unforgettable lobby atmosphere. The Host position at the Kimpton Palladian is a part-time role, responsible for welcoming, seating, and assisting guests promptly and courteously in the hotel’s dining outlets. The Host plays a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction by facilitating smooth service throughout the dining experience. Additional responsibilities include assisting with payment collection, managing reservations, maintaining cleanliness and quality control of menus, and upholding compliance with liquor laws. This position demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Host will report directly to management and collaborate closely with servers, cashiers, and other team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
