Job Requirements
- Arrive to work on time as scheduled and ready to work
- Follow company policies including time recording requirements
- Showcase a warm, upbeat, and energetic demeanor
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Complete tasks listed on opening and closing sidework charts
- Maintain clean and sanitized work areas
- Notify management immediately of potential guest or team member issues
- Wash hands every 20 minutes throughout the shift
- Support other front-of-house functions as needed
- Set up team members for success at shift change
- Ability to remain standing and walking for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Work with varying noise levels and in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
- Basic reading and handwriting skills
- Ability to operate front door seating software
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly disposition and attentiveness to guests
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and acknowledge all guests within five feet
- Seat guests based on seating preference and rotate seating to ensure even workloads for servers
- Provide departing guests with a warm salutation thanking them for their visit and inviting them to return
- Support service team members in bussing dishes, sanitizing, and resetting tables
- Manage guest placement within the entrance area to enhance guest experience and safety
- Provide accurate wait times and recommend waiting options such as seating at the bar
- Maintain a neat and organized workstation and entrance area
