Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a host in the fast-casual restaurant industry
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency in POS systems
  • Current alcohol and food certifications meeting state requirements
  • Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
  • Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience as a host in the fast-casual restaurant industry
  • Proficiency in POS systems
  • Current state-compliant alcohol and food certifications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with team leadership and conflict resolution

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and create memorable first impressions
  • Manage guest seating and reservations efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the entrance and wait areas
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve conflicts in a friendly and professional manner
  • Use POS systems proficiently to manage seating and guest flow
  • Assist with general restaurant upkeep and team support as needed
