Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to move throughout dining areas and lift necessary weights

- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively
- Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40lbs
- Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude upon their arrival
- Maintain an organized reservation system including taking reservations over phone or online platforms
- Manage seating process efficiently balancing guest preferences, table availability, and server assignments
- Effectively manage waitlists during peak dining hours providing estimated wait times and options for guests
- Provide guests with information about menus, daily specials, promotions, and events
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding table availability, special requests, and guest concerns or allergies
- Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess stand and waiting area
- Bid guests a warm farewell and express appreciation for their visit, collecting feedback and addressing any immediate concerns
