Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Host to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping the first impression guests have of our restaurant. The Host will be responsible for greeting guests promptly with a friendly attitude, managing reservations and waitlists through our booking system, and escorting guests to their tables while presenting menus. Maintaining an organized seating chart is crucial for balancing server sections and optimizing table turnover, contributing to a smooth and efficient dining experience. The Host will also handle phone inquiries, takeout orders, and ensure guest satisfaction by communicating effectively with management and service staff. This position demands excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required, as we value a positive attitude and eagerness to learn above all. Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly, courteously, and with a friendly attitude
  • Manage guest reservations and waitlists using the restaurant's booking system
  • Escort guests to their tables and present menus
  • Maintain an organized seating chart to balance server sections and optimize table turns
  • Answer phone calls, provide accurate information about the restaurant, and handle takeout orders
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and communicate any concerns to management
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the host stand, entrance area, and restrooms
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return
