Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations service equipment and guest relations
  • Ability to read English language to fully comprehend guest requests memos reservations promotional materials event orders and similar written materials
  • Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests
  • Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner involving listening empathy and providing positive proactive solutions
  • Ability to sit stand reach bend and stoop
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations
  • Must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance
  • Full flexibility to accommodate varying schedules
  • Any combination of education training and experience equivalent to graduation from high school that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their table and present menu
  • Maintain host desk and all menus tidy clean neat
  • Receive record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant
  • Maintain an open line of communication between guests management and other team members
  • Observe all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties
  • Work efficiently as a team
