Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Strong verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills for managing reservations
Ability to remain calm under pressure

Job Duties

Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude upon arrival at the restaurant
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Seat guests at appropriate tables and ensure they are comfortable and have a pleasant dining experience
Answer any questions or inquiries guests may have about the menu or restaurant
Manage waitlists and reservations efficiently and accurately
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host/hostess station
Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of service
Handle guest complaints or issues in a timely and appropriate manner
Upsell menu items and promote special offers or promotions
Take and process to-go orders as needed
Assist with bussing and resetting tables when necessary
Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent customer service
Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
Attend training sessions and team meetings as required
Continuously strive to improve the overall guest experience
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu and daily specials
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor
