Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude upon arrival at the restaurant
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Seat guests at appropriate tables and ensure they are comfortable and have a pleasant dining experience
  • Answer any questions or inquiries guests may have about the menu or restaurant
  • Manage waitlists and reservations efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host/hostess station
  • Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of service
  • Handle guest complaints or issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Upsell menu items and promote special offers or promotions
  • Take and process to-go orders as needed
  • Assist with bussing and resetting tables when necessary
  • Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent customer service
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
  • Attend training sessions and team meetings as required
  • Continuously strive to improve the overall guest experience
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu and daily specials
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor
