Job Requirements
- High level of mobility and flexibility

Job Qualifications
- Basic skills in sanitation safety and customer service taught through in-house training
- trustworthy and reliable in handling payment of guest checks and operating cash register
- able to communicate clearly
Job Duties
- Report to work well groomed in proper and clean uniform and practice good personal hygiene
- use greeting seating and waiting list procedures
- handle cash credit card information gift cards and payment of guest checks properly
- maintain cleanliness standards and stock reception area and restrooms
- process guest checks accurately with no cash overages or shortages
- anticipate identify and correct system breakdowns to maximize guest satisfaction
- assist pantry maintenance and pre-rush organization
- assist servers and bus persons to execute Perkins service standards
- utilize proper cash handling procedures including counting change and security precautions
- ensure cash register area is stocked with needed items
- communicate with manager on duty and co-workers about product service deficiencies equipment and safety issues
- monitor and oversee food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce foodborne illness risk
- have sufficient menu knowledge to execute suggestive selling techniques
- maintain cleanliness of bakery cases and restock
- have knowledge of bakery products to execute selling techniques and sampling
- bag or box products according to standards
