We are currently seeking a high-energy Host/Hostess with a positive attitude to join our Famous Dave’s family. The Host/Hostess plays a critical role, serving as the initial and final point of contact for guests, and ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed and valued. As the face of the restaurant, you will greet guests warmly with a friendly smile, setting the tone for an outstanding dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. Your role includes managing seating arrangements, accommodating special needs like boosters, high chairs, and large parties, and managing waitlists with accurate wait-time estimates. Your ability to interact politely and professionally with guests, engage in friendly conversation, and coordinate with servers will enhance the overall dining experience.

This position requires someone who demonstrates a genuine 'Guest First' attitude, someone who goes beyond simply welcoming guests by creating an environment where they feel entirely at home - like in their own backyard. You will be responsible for small but important tasks such as maintaining seating and table layouts, assisting servers when needed, completing assigned cleaning duties, and having working knowledge of the menu to answer guests' questions or provide recommendations confidently.
