Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant environment preferred
Ability to stand, bend, and twist during shifts
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policies
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends

Job Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred
Cash handling experience preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret seating charts
Friendly and outgoing demeanor
Ability to interact well with the public and coworkers
Good communication skills
Ability to follow company cash handling procedures

Job Duties

Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables
Record customer reservations and seating times
Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
Set up and maintain dining room areas before service
Assist with stocking roll-up silverware
Advise guests on menus and beverage choices
Coordinate food and beverage delivery with kitchen and floor staff
Handle cashier and bus person duties as required
Follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
Patrol assigned station to refill beverages and remove service items
Perform team duties during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food, and cleaning table condiments
