This position requires an individual with exceptional communication skills, a warm and friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple customer service situations with patience and flexibility.

The Dining Room Host/Hostess acts as the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for their dining experience by greeting them promptly and directing them to their tables. During emergency situations, the Dining Room Host/Hostess must demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures and assist in evacuating guests promptly and safely. Beyond greeting and seating duties, the position includes occasional bussing and food service while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Equipment operation is sometimes required, including handling fire extinguishers, telephones, and various beverage machines.

Bon Appetit values its associates by offering competitive wages tied to experience, comprehensive benefits for both full-time and part-time employees, and opportunities for career growth and development. Internal employee referral bonuses provide additional incentives. The environment fosters teamwork across departments, especially during special events or functions, ensuring smooth and enjoyable experiences for guests.
