Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in reservations or host roles in fine dining or similar setting
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • knowledge of reservation management systems preferred
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • commitment to professionalism and guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a warm, friendly and sincere manner
  • provide a warm welcome and fond farewell upon departure
  • answer phone calls and guest inquiries
  • have full knowledge of the floor plan and seating charts
  • manage day to day reservations, walk-in and cancellations/no-show in the reservation system
  • seat guests according to their preferences and under manager direction
  • be responsible for the overall presentation, cleanliness and organization of assigned guest service areas such as coat check and bathrooms
  • guide guests to assigned table and ensure their satisfaction
