Known for its energetic atmosphere, Sidecar Social combines craft cocktails, scratch-kitchen plates, and an expansive patio with a variety of engaging activities such as live music, private karaoke rooms, classic games including pop-a-shot, foosball, darts, cornhole, and multiple live sports broadcasts on massive 18-foot screens. This innovative venue has quickly become a beloved spot for locals seeking a blend of great food, entertainment, and social experiences.
Sidecar Social prides itself on creating a lively and fun work environment, emphasizing teamwork, work-life balance, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Named a Best Place to Work by the Dallas Morning News four times, the company focuses on treating its staff like family and fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture where every employee's contribution is valued.
The role of Host/Hostess is central to the guest experience at Sidecar Social. As the first point of contact for visitors, the host or hostess sets the tone for the entire visit. This position requires an individual who is not only dependable and punctual but also enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service. The host or hostess is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing reservations and seating, coordinating wait times, and sharing information about events and amenities to enhance the overall experience. Working behind the scenes, the host/hostess helps to ensure the smooth flow of the restaurant's operations while maintaining a fun, energetic atmosphere.
Ideal candidates for this position will be personable, trustworthy, and committed to providing memorable service that keeps guests coming back. They should possess a positive attitude, be team-oriented, and enjoy being part of a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Certification requirements include a Food Handlers permit and TABC Certification, which reflect the importance of safety and compliance in the hospitality industry. If you are someone who finds satisfaction in creating fun and enjoyable experiences for others while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment, Sidecar Social offers an excellent platform to develop your skills and grow your career in hospitality.
