Additionally, handling introductory tasks such as offering menus, informing guests about their server, and engaging in friendly conversation to enhance the ambiance and guest comfort is expected. Attention to detail is crucial as you will also ensure tables are properly presented and food items such as chips and salsa are handled appropriately. Through these interactions, you help foster a positive and memorable dining experience that encourages repeat visits. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Scheduled participation in team meetings reflects the collaborative culture of the restaurant where continuous improvement and open communication are valued. Job Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
- ability to read and understand simple instructions
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information to guests and other team members
- exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
- constant standing/walking
- occasional stooping/kneeling
- occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 40 pounds
- occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
- frequent intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
- constant receiving detailed information through oral communication
- constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas using the spoken word
- constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances

Job Duties
- Warmly greet all guests upon their arrival
- open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible
- inspect tables for proper presentation
- record guest information in the NoWait App and provide estimated wait times during busy periods
- notify guests via the NoWait App when their table is ready
- accommodate special seating requests whenever possible
- make friendly conversation with guests as you walk them to their table
- upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of the server's name
- handle food such as chips and salsa
- thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- attend all scheduled team member meetings
