Acting as the initial point of contact, you will warmly greet and guide guests on their dining adventure, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. This position goes beyond simple seating arrangements; it involves managing wait lists efficiently, escorting guests promptly to clean, comfortable tables, and maintaining a cheerful and professional demeanor throughout your shift. Additionally, the role requires interacting with guests throughout their visit by facilitating food and beverage delivery, ensuring the dining area remains pristine, and offering assistance to fellow team members as needed. The hostess/host must be physically prepared to stand or walk for long periods, able to work outdoors when necessary, and handle tasks involving lifting and carrying trays.

Job Duties
- Manage a wait list
- greet guests and escort them as soon as possible to a clean table
- bid farewell to guests leaving and invite them to return
- expedite food, get beverages, and deliver these items to our guests
- have a good understanding of our menu
- clean and reset tables
- help fellow team members when appropriate
- work walking/standing for 100% of shift (up to 8 hours)
- work outdoors in different types of weather
- safely lift and maneuver trays of food (up to 30 lbs)
- maintain cleanliness throughout dining room and restaurant to company standards
