Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience as a host or hostess preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including carrying 25 or more pounds standing walking kneeling crouching stooping and reaching
  • Must be able to work shifts of 8 or more hours
  • Ability to use POS system for order processing and timekeeping
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in guest and work areas

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Previous host or hostess experience preferred
  • Ability to wipe down table tops table legs pick up debris from floor and wipe booth seats
  • Reading writing and superior communication skills required
  • Ability to communicate confidently creating a friendly relaxed atmosphere

Job Duties

  • Greets engages and seats guests in a warm and timely manner
  • Manages the wait list quoting accurate times
  • Accommodates special needs including boosters highchairs disabilities and large parties
  • Opens doors for arriving and departing guests
  • Assists servers with various tasks
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of entry work and dining areas including windows and floors
  • Checks restroom cleanliness every 30 minutes
  • Uses POS system to clock in and out process orders and complete shift procedures
  • Performs side duties including answering phones bussing tables washing dishes expediting orders and running food
