Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a host or hostess preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including carrying 25 or more pounds standing walking kneeling crouching stooping and reaching
- Must be able to work shifts of 8 or more hours
- Ability to use POS system for order processing and timekeeping
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in guest and work areas
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Previous host or hostess experience preferred
- Ability to wipe down table tops table legs pick up debris from floor and wipe booth seats
- Reading writing and superior communication skills required
- Ability to communicate confidently creating a friendly relaxed atmosphere
Job Duties
- Greets engages and seats guests in a warm and timely manner
- Manages the wait list quoting accurate times
- Accommodates special needs including boosters highchairs disabilities and large parties
- Opens doors for arriving and departing guests
- Assists servers with various tasks
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of entry work and dining areas including windows and floors
- Checks restroom cleanliness every 30 minutes
- Uses POS system to clock in and out process orders and complete shift procedures
- Performs side duties including answering phones bussing tables washing dishes expediting orders and running food
