THE ONE GROUP is a globally recognized leader in vibe dining, known for creating uniquely memorable experiences that seamlessly blend food, ambiance, and exceptional service. As a hospitality company, THE ONE GROUP operates within the dynamic restaurant industry, delivering high-energy, trend-forward dining environments across multiple locations worldwide. The company prides itself on an innovative approach to dining that prioritizes cutting-edge design and an electrifying atmosphere, paired with a culinary offering that excites and satisfies diverse palates. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for cultivating an inviting cultural vibe, THE ONE GROUP has established itself as a destination for guests seeking not just a meal but an immersive nightlife and dining experience.
The role of Host/Hostess at THE ONE GROUP is integral to the guest journey, serving as the first and last point of contact that shapes diners' overall impression. This front-of-house position requires a warm, engaging, and professional individual who can manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and maintain a smooth and welcoming environment. Your efforts will directly influence guest satisfaction by ensuring their arrival, dining, and departure experiences are seamless and memorable. This position is particularly suited for those enthusiastic about hospitality and eager to represent a prestigious brand that values both personalized guest interaction and operational efficiency.
As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for managing OpenTable reservations to optimize seating flow during service hours, assisting guests with special requests, and maintaining continuous communication regarding table availability and wait times. Your role extends to providing guests with menus, introducing servers, and ensuring the host stand and surrounding areas meet high standards of organization and cleanliness. Handling inbound communications such as phone reservation inquiries is also part of your routine duties, alongside assisting in concierge outreach and brand representation at off-site events.
Throughout your shift, you will monitor the dining area, support the Maître D or Lead Host in coordinating seating rotations, and help with service tasks like bussing tables or running food when needed. Adhering to stringent health and sanitation standards and maintaining an elevated professional appearance that aligns with THE ONE GROUP’s hospitality ethos is crucial. This position demands stamina and grace under pressure, including the physical ability to stand for long periods and a readiness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
THE ONE GROUP offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, voluntary short-term disability, and various paid voluntary insurance options such as accident and critical illness coverage. Employees have access to traditional and Roth 401(k) plans and enjoy perks like employee dining discounts, complimentary onsite meals, paid time off, employee assistance programs, commuter and dependent care benefits, and more. Moreover, the company provides career development opportunities within a growing global brand, fostering an environment where ambition and growth potential are highly encouraged and supported.
Joining THE ONE GROUP means embarking on a hospitality career with endless potential and an opportunity to be part of a respected, innovative brand. A career as a Host/Hostess here is not just a job but a pathway to broaden your skills, grow professionally, and contribute to an exciting team dedicated to delivering unparalleled dining experiences.
